Foram divulgadas as faixas que farão parte da trilha sonora de Cadillac Records, filme do diretor Darnell Martin , que conta a história da Chess records, gravadora que lançou carreira de artists como Muddy Waters, Etta James e Chuck Berry.As faixas são versões de músicas de artistas da Chess Records, gravadas por artistas que fazem parte do elenco do filme. A cantora Beyoncé, que interpreta Etta James, gravou “at Last” e Trust in Me” . O rapper Mos Def, que faz o Chuck Berry gravou 4 faixas do guitarrista americano, dentre elas pode-se destacar Nadine e Maybellane. Outra figura que marca presença tanto no filme quanto na trilha é Jeffrey Wright, que interpreta o bluesman Muddy Waters.
